Deliveries and returns

The handcrafted items and products ordered on Babelsouk come directly from the workshops of artisans or craft shops.

It is important to remember that handcrafted items and products are sent to you directly from the workshops of the artisans or craft shops.

Packages are generally shipped within 48 hours of receiving your payment. The standard shipping method includes tracking and insurance, and requires a signature upon delivery. We will provide you with a tracking link as soon as possible so you can follow your package's delivery online.

Shipping costs include packaging, handling, and postage. They may include a fixed portion and a variable portion depending on the price or weight of your order.

Please note that in some cases, for certain handcrafted creations, items, and products, artisans specify that a production time is required. These are made-to-order items.

Incorrect delivery address

Contact Babelsouk as soon as possible to request a change to the shipping address. If the artisan has not yet shipped the item, they will be able to change the address. If the item has already been shipped, it will be your responsibility to contact the carrier chosen by the artisan or craft shop to retrieve the package.

Item or handcrafted product unavailable

The artisan or craft shop is responsible for managing the quantities displayed on the pages showcasing their handcrafted items and products. If you have ordered an item that the artisan no longer has in their workshop, and is no longer able to produce, we will inform you of the situation by email as soon as we are notified by the artisan or craft shop. We will then offer you a refund or a credit note on the website to purchase a handcrafted item or product of equivalent value. All refunds are processed within 14 business days of confirmation.

Make a return

You have the right to return a handcrafted item or product within 14 days of receiving your package. If you are returning an item due to non-conformity (for example, you ordered one color and received a different color), returns are free. You must send us a message explaining how the shipment does not match your order. We will then authorize a free return. Please be sure to keep your proof of payment when returning the handcrafted item or product. Please note that when you return a handcrafted item or product, we cannot be held responsible, nor can the artisan or craft shop, for any loss of the package between your address and the artisan's or craft shop's workshop, or for any damage. We therefore ask that you return your items with proof of delivery, and with a tracking number that allows us to locate the package during its journey from your address to the artisan's workshop or craft shop, as well as insurance covering the full purchase price of the item or handcrafted product. Please use the workshop address indicated on the package when it was sent to you. Items must be returned in their original packaging, undamaged, unused, and undamaged. They must be in resalable condition. Once the artisan or craft shop has received your return, they will inform us, and we will refund your purchase within 14 business days. Please note that if you are returning an item for reasons other than non-conformity, the return shipping costs remain your responsibility.

Package condition

Do not accept a damaged package without noting the damage; any resulting damage to the handcrafted items and products will then be your responsibility. Contact us within 48 business hours to report the problem. We will assist you in finding the best possible solution, with the carrier as well as the artisan or craft shop. If the damage is not your responsibility, we will refund your purchase within 14 business days of receiving notification of the damage.
